Vitality Roasting was founded in 2018 with a passion for enriching local communities by head roaster Keli Gilbertson. As a fully female-operated business, Vitality Roasting is one of a kind within the St. Paul/Minneapolis area. Vitality has seen firsthand all of the work that goes into growing and harvesting each coffee bean, so it strives to be a zero-waste operation. The small-batch roasting process ensures every bean is meticulously checked for quality, creating the highest quality product possible for everyone that supports local by buying a bag of Vitality Roasting coffee beans.
With more than 10 years experience pouring lattes and managing restaurants, Head Roaster Keli Gilbertson has worked for both independent shops as well as in corporate coffee, developing her pallet, honing her coffee skills, training staff, and evolving as a manager. A life-long, consummate coffee drinker, Keli trained as a commercial roaster under Master Roaster Derek De La Paz of Mill City Roasting and takes great pride in every batch of coffee that leaves the Vitality Roasting facility.
